Internet Safety Resource For Parents
Portland Public Schools is committed to helping all of our families raise kids that are safe and smart about the media in their lives. We're partnering with Common Sense Media (www.commonsensemedia.org) to bring you resources that will help your family navigate today's media world, and we need your help to make sure our programming is useful and interesting to you.
Please take a few minutes to fill out a short online survey (10 - 15 minutes) that will help us better understand your family's media habits and interests.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a great way to support your child's development and prepare them for a great start in life. INSERT LOCAL DISTRICT NAME has joined with community partners to provide this opportunity to all children who live within the Ionia County Intermediate School District. This is a free literacy program for young children and it is considered a GIFT from the community back to its youngest citizens. For just $27.00 per year, a child will receive a high quality book once a month delivered right to their home for an entire year.
