How to Access Your Email over the
Web
You can access your portlandk12.org
email from any computer with a Internet access. The
steps below will walk you through the process of using the web to get your
Portlandk12.org email.
Step
1: Open a web browser. You can use Netscape or Internet Explorer.
Step
2: Go to www.portlandk12.org.
Step
3: Click on Staff Only on the main page.

4: Click on the link for your current location. If you are in the district it
is Inside District and if you are at home or somewhere else outside the
district…

5: Enter your login name and password. This is the same as you use to log into
your computer in the district. NOTE: Do not choose Remember
my password. This will save the information on the computer for anyone after
you to use. All they would have to do is go to the email website and choose login
and they would have access to your email.
Step
6: The view is the same as your outlook on your desktop. You even have access
to your address book. Anything you can do in Outlook on your computer, you can
do in the online version including send forwarding email, sending to groups,
etc.

Step
7: When you are done, click on log off and then close the web browser.
