POSITIONS: Latchkey Director – Westwood’s Before School Program

LOCATION: Westwood Elementary School

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university with no less than 18 semester hours in child development, child psychology, or early-childhood education.

2. CPR/First Aid Certified

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

1. Experience as a child-care provider

2. Experience supervising others

3. Ability to organize activities

4. Ability to relate well with young children

5. Ability to cooperate and effectively communicate with staff members

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for overseeing the morning operation of the Westwood Latchkey Program

2. Responsible for supervising child-care aide

3. Plan and provide activities for the morning program

4. Responsible for following all FIA rules and regulations

5. Daily hours: 6:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. Non-Union, supervisory position

2.. School Year Only

3. M-F Daily Hours 6:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
