WHO WE ARE

Parents, alumni and friends working together to support all the student/athletes

 

 

 

We raise money to fund projects, equipment, and programs that are either partially/not funded by the school district. Monies raised are primarily from the concession stand, donations and fundraising ideas that has enabled the Portland Athletic Boosters to assist paying for the following since 2000: cheerleaders uniforms, soccer uniforms, gator cart, tennis bags, track equipment, baseball and softball pitching machines, indoor hitting range for golf, portable baseball backstop, Middle School equipment, volleyball net, softball bags, Nautilus equipment, flooring for weight room, irrigation to baseball and softball fields, scoring table for sporting events, Project graduation, senior banquet, athletic plaques, scholarships and hosted tail gate party.

 

Looking for something exciting to do?! Work in the concession stand with your friends and neighbors. Come to one of our monthly meetings, which are held the 2nd Monday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Portland High School Library. Highlights are monthly updates from coaches, the athletic director, and a chance for you to make a difference in the athletic programs of our children in Portland.   Lend a hand, be a voice, make a contribution!
