Pitching Camp

June 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26

Who: Any girl who is serious about pitching, approximately age ten through high school.

Beginning pitching is recommended for girls who are having trouble with control and/or fastball mechanics or are just learning how to pitch.  The clinic will introduce and review drills that will help develop these mechanics in order for the pitcher to throw strikes more consistently.

Intermediate pitching is recommended for girls who have actual game pitching experience with few control problems.  The intermediate clinic will emphasize developing more speed while maintaining proper mechanics and control.  The change-up will be introduced and worked on for pitchers who are ready.

Advanced pitching is recommended for girls who have been pitching for three or more years and who have control of their fastball and change-up.  This clinic will work on the development of one other pitch. Pitchers may choose to work on the drop, curve, or rise.
