9/21/2020 - Calendar Changes

Good evening parents,

Tonight our School Board approved changes to the calendar for this school year.   You can access the new Board approved calendar by following this link: 2020-2021 Parent Calendar - Updated 9.21.20  We will also get this calendar posted at the top of our website under the parent tab.

The calendar changes specifically add several Virtual Instruction Days to the calendar.  Virtual Instruction Days are days when students will work virtually from home in Brightspace classes (asynchronous learning).  Teachers will be required to have a “days work” in Brightspace and expectations communicated to students before 8am on these days. We experienced our first virtual day last Wednesday and we have our second virtual day this Wednesday.  Virtual days added to this calendar are on the following dates:

  • Wednesday - September 30
  • Thursday - October 8 (still a half day but just a virtual half day) 
  • Wednesday - October 14
  • Wednesday - October 21
  • Wednesday - October 28
  • Wednesday - November 11
  • Wednesday - November 18
  • Wednesday - December 2
  • Wednesday - December 9
  • Wednesday - December 16
  • Wednesday - January 6
  • Wednesday - January 13
