    PPS buildings and facilities are closed for the remainder of the school year.  Distance learning will begin during the week of April 13th and will continue until our last day of instruction, June 5th.  No students, volunteers, or guests are allowed in any building, playground, or athletic facility during this shutdown period.

**Updated** COVID 19 Statement

The Ionia County Health Department has issued recommendations for Ionia County residents and businesses identified as critical service providers by the State of Michigan. These recommendations are designed to ensure that critical infrastructure workers are able to carry out normal operations while keeping themselves and the community safe.

Last night Governor Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-16 regarding child care services for members of Michigan's essential workforce. ISD's were asked to provide support by coordinating the finding of child care services for Michigan's essential workforce (as defined in EO 2020-16). Ionia County ISD will assist in supporting our essential workforce in securing private or already existing child care options in our local communities.
