Christy Vostrizansky

Director of Early Childhood

My name is Christy Vostrizansky, and I am excited to be the Early Childhood Director for Portland Public Schools. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching K-8. I also hold a Professional Teaching Certificate and a Certificate in Childcare Administration. I'm looking forward to meeting your family, providing a safe and welcoming environment for your child, and working together to create an enriched learning environment that engages all students to be successful.

Jacqualyn Klepac

Little Raiders/GSRP Teacher

I’m Jacqualyn Klepac, and I earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2025. I am currently completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education through Walden University. I have been with Portland Public Schools for nearly six years, with this year marking my fifth year working with Little Raiders.

I am excited to begin teaching as a Little Raiders preschool teacher, where I strive to create a nurturing classroom environment in which every child feels safe, valued, and supported. I am passionate about guiding each child through their unique developmental learning journey and fostering a love of learning from an early age.

Emily Fox

Little Raiders/GSRP Teacher

My name is Emily Fox and I am excited to be part of the Little Raiders team. I have a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with an additional certification in Early Childhood Education. This will be my first year teaching! I am so excited to meet you all and work with your kiddos!

Tonya Johnson

Little Raiders/GSRP Teacher

My Name is Tonya Johnson, and I am excited to spend another year teaching Pre-K. I have been teaching preschool for over 15 years. I began teaching for the Little Raiders Preschool in 2021. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education through Western Governors University. I teach because I want to make a difference.

Faith Scott-Briner

Little Raiders/GSRP Teacher

Hi, I'm Ms. Scott-Briner, but I go by Ms. Scott. I'm very excited to begin teaching at Little Raiders! Engaging with children and families on the learning journey is a passion of mine! I have a background and experience in special education support, social work, and applied behavioral analysis. I’m so excited to be a part of this journey of learning and growth with the Little Raiders Team! My interests and things I love are pugs, walking/hiking, and rock collecting!

Jenny Simon

Little Raiders/ Braided GSRP Teacher

Hi! My name is Jenny Simon, students call me Miss Jenny. I am excited to be teaching with the Little Raiders in the Braided GSRP classroom. This year marks my 29th year with Portland Public Schools (28 years in Special Ed.). I have been with the ECSE program for over 26 years, the last 2 ½ years as the ECSE teacher with push-in services to GSRP students, and 23 ½ years prior as the classroom aide. I can’t wait to start this year with the Braided GSRP Program.
 

Caitlin Zbytowski

Little Raiders/GSRP Assistant Director and Teacher

My name is Caitlin Zbytowski, Mrs. Zibby for short. I received my Associate in Early Childhood Education in 2005. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education through Northern Michigan University. I’ve been teaching at Oakwood for 11 years, this year marking my 2nd year as the Assistant Director. I live a full life as a wife to a wonderful husband, and mom to 2 teenage boys. I enjoy attending my son’s sporting events, kayaking, dancing, singing, coffee on the porch, and spending time with family and friends.
