Thank you for your interest in Portland Public Schools. We look forward to meeting prospective new students and families in our District. In this section, you will find several helpful links and forms to get your child's educational journey started at PPS. We also have resources available for our returning students.
Portland Public Schools is excited to announce our transition from Skyward to PowerSchool as our new Student Information System (SIS). This change will provide families with an improved experience for student enrollment, communication, attendance, grades, schedules, and other important school information.
As we prepare for the transition, all new student enrollments will be completed through PowerSchool. Parents and guardians with students who are new to Portland Public Schools should complete the New Student Enrollment Form below to begin the enrollment process.

New Students

Little Raiders Preschool
At Little Little Raiders Preschool, we believe that children learn by doing, getting messy, investigating answers to their questions, playing games, using their imaginations, expressing their emotions, creating, and exploring the world around them.
Ionia County Preschool
Ionia County is pleased to offer free preschool programs through Head Start and the Great Start Readiness Program. These programs are for children ages 3 through 5. Children qualify based on individual family circumstances.
