New Student Enrollment
While each individual school building will have some additional enrollment paperwork and information to collect, the documents included in the New Student Enrollment Binder, available below, are required for all students entering Portland Public Schools. The New Student Parent Checklist shown here should help you to stay organized with these documents. Once these documents are completed, they can be printed or saved and submitted via email to enrollment@portlandk12.org. You will need to follow-up with your specific school building's main office secretary to provide the additional documentation required and get any additional forms that may be needed depending on the school building. In addition to the New Student Registration Forms packet, if your student resides outside of the Portland Public School District, please download and complete the appropriate form below. This is not required for residents inside the Portland Public School District.
Non-Resident (Outside Ionia ISD) School Of Choice (within Ionia ISD)
Completed New Student Registration Forms can be printed and delivered in person to the appropriate contact below, or saved and emailed as an attachment to enrollment@portlandk12.org. Completion of the above-listed forms and provision of documentation does not guarantee enrollment with the Portland Public School District.
