Ever wonder the value of the school lunch? Are you tired of packing your child’s lunch? On average, the bagged lunch you are making every day will cost you on $3.52 (using Meijer prices in Michigan). This year, lunch at Portland Public Schools will cost $2.60 for Elementary $2.85 at the High School or $4.00 for the combo meal with fries. Save time and money this school year and buy your child a nutritious and delicious lunch with us.

Summer Meet Up and Eat Up

Meet Up and Eat Up can help provide kids and teens a healthy food option to fuel them for the summer. Check out the Meet Up and Eat Up Map for options in our area.

Free and Reduced School Meals Information

Children need healthy meals to learn. Portland Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Check out the information below for answers to questions about free and reduced-price meals as well as the Free and Reduced-Price Meals Application.

School Breakfast Outreach

Breakfast is available at eligible schools only:

  • Portland High School - 7:20-7:45 a.m.    
  • Portland Middle School - 7:25-7:50 a.m.
  • Westwood Elementary - 8:25-8:45 a.m.
  • Oakwood  Elementary - 8:30-9:00 a.m.

All breakfast meals are available at no charge to students for the 23-24 school year. 

Milk without a meal is not free and may be purchased for $0.60 (student must have funds in their account).

Portland Public Schools Food Service is happy to cater your next event. You can start the ordering process by completing the form linked below. A more detailed menu of options is coming soon, but we are happy to work with you to feed your guests.

If you have a special dietary request based on a disability that restricts your student's diet, please use this form to request a dietary accommodation.
